Spanish registration is available for all the nationalities.

Your boat or yacht can be registered in Spain as a bareboat vessel, a business vessel, or for private use.

It takes 5 – 7 business days to register the boat in Spain.

We are required the following documents:

• A copy of ID or PP
• A copy of bill of sale/ Vessel title deed/invoice
• A copy of deletion from previous registry
• Certificate of Navigability
• CE declaration for boats after 1998 or technical documents for boats previous to 1998,
• CE declaration for engine
• If the boat is coming from outside EU importation doc is required
• Proof of payment of immatriculation tax

If the boat is less than 9 meters and has engine tax T0 must be paid as well.

Normally sea worthiness certificate is required which is issued after technical survey. However, it depends on the boat, Spanish authorities normally advise it.

Inspection is required in most cases.

Yes, we can help with the MMSI license. Every boat must legally have an MMSI or radio license aboard. When you register for the Spain flag registration, we may arrange for your Spain MMSI / Radio license.

We accept documents in English and Spanish. Documents in any other language must be sworn translated, and we will take care of that.

Licencia de Navegación - You can operate boats up to 6 meters long and up to two miles from the coast if you have a navigation license, also known as a Licencia de Navegación.

Basic Navigation Skipper - Patrón de navigación básica - This permits you to operate vessels up to 8 metres long up to 5 miles from the coast.

Recreational Boat Skipper - Patrón de Embarcaciones de Recreo (PER) - This license will allow you to operate vessels up to 15 metres in length. You will be permitted to travel between islands in the Balearic and Canarian archipelago since the navigation zone will be extended to 12 miles from the coast.

Yacht Skipper - Your degree of navigation expertise will increase with the Yacht License certification. You will be permitted to operate vessels up to 24 meters in length up to 150 miles inland.

Yacht Captain - The Yacht License license is extended by the Captain certification, which eliminates all length and navigation restrictions.

• Copy of Passport
• Original bill of sale
• Original Spanish navigation authorization and licence (Patente de navegacion) (Rol de despacho y navegacion)
• Radio operator's licence (Licencia de Estacion de Barco)
• Radio technician's certification for deprogramming MMSI
• Petition to unsubscribe flag (Solicitud de baja)

It is issued in a document form. We will send you the Spanish registration document to your address.

Survey is a must for commercial use and sometimes for private boats as well. In case of private use it depends on the boat.

The Spanish registration is valid for the lifetime.
